Service & Scheduling

Answers to common questions about scheduling and how weekly service works.

Do you service pools in my area?

We proudly provide weekly residential pool service throughout Clermont and surrounding communities, including Four Corners, Groveland, Horizon West, Mascotte, Minneola, Montverde, Oakland, Ocoee, and Winter Garden.

How often do you service a pool?

We provide weekly pool service only, as this allows us to maintain proper water chemistry, protect equipment, and address potential issues before they become larger problems.

Will my pool be serviced on the same day every week?

Yes. When your account is set up you will be assigned a regular service day.

We will notify you in advance if a schedule adjustment is needed due to holidays, weather, or operational requirements.

Can I request a specific day of service?

We try our best to accommodate preferred service days where possible. However, our technicians service specific geographic areas each day, so this cannot always be guaranteed.

Do I need to be home during service?

No. As long as our technician has access to the pool area and equipment, you do not need to be present during service.

What time of day will my pool be serviced?

Service times vary depending on route schedules and weather conditions, so we cannot guarantee a specific time of day.

When the technician is heading to your property, a “We’re on our way to your location” text notification is typically sent.

Will I receive a report after each service?

Yes. After each visit you will receive a service report showing the work completed, water chemistry readings, and chemical dosages added.

Reports also include completed service checklist items and multiple photos of your pool and equipment.

What if it rains on my service day?

Light rain does not usually prevent normal pool service.

In the event of severe weather or lightning, service may be modified for safety.

Pricing & Billing

Information about service costs, payments, and billing.

How much do you charge for pool service?

Pricing depends on the size of the pool, equipment, accessibility, and service needs.

After a brief inspection we provide a clear monthly service quote.

Does weekly service include chemicals?

Basic water balancing chemicals are included with weekly service.

Specialist treatments such as algae treatment, phosphate removal, or stain treatments may incur an additional charge and will always be discussed with you in advance.

How can I pay my bill?

Invoices are issued on the 15th of each month and are due by the 14th of the following month.

Payments can be made through our Skimmer customer portal, or via cash, check, or other approved payment methods.

Do you require an annual contract?

No. We do not require annual contracts.

We simply ask for 15 days written notice if you would like to cancel service.

Pool Care & Water Chemistry

Common questions about pool maintenance and water balance.

What are the optimal water chemistry levels for my pool water?

Maintaining balanced water chemistry helps protect your pool surface, equipment, and swimmer comfort. Typical recommended ranges include:
Calcium Hardness – 200 to 400ppm
Total Chlorine – 2.0 and 4.0 ppm
Free Chlorine - 1.0 and 3.0 ppm
pH – 7.4 to 7.6
Total Alkalinity (TA) – 80 to 120ppm
Cyanuric Acid (CYA) – 30 to 50ppm

How long do I have to wait after pool service to swim?

In most cases it is safe to swim 20–60 minutes after service, depending on what chemicals were added.

If additional treatments are applied, your service report will include specific guidance.

Why does my pool water level drop?

Some water loss is normal due to evaporation, especially during hot or windy weather. If the water level drops significantly or frequently between services, there may be a leak or equipment issue. Please let us know and we can help determine the cause.

Do you service saltwater pools?

Yes. Saltwater pools still require regular cleaning, testing, and balancing.

Our weekly service includes monitoring the salt system, checking chlorine production, and maintaining proper water chemistry. We also inspect and clean the salt cell quarterly as part of routine maintenance, and routine salt top-ups are included as needed.

Do you service vacation rental or commercial pools?

We specialize in residential pool service.

We are happy to service vacation rental pools when the homeowner manages the property directly. At this time, we do not service pools on behalf of property management companies or commercial facilities.

What if I notice a problem with my pool equipment between services?

If you notice anything unusual with your pool between services, please let us know.

We’re always happy to take a look and help determine the cause. Addressing small issues early can often prevent larger problems later.

What if my pool needs repairs or additional work?

If our technician notices an issue during routine service, we will notify you and explain the situation along with recommended next steps.
Minor adjustments can often be handled during service, while larger repairs or equipment replacements may require scheduling a separate visit.
Any work outside of normal service will always be discussed with you in advance.
