Our Story

E.M. & Sons Pool Service had been serving homeowners in the South Lake area for many years before our family purchased the business in 2021 after relocating from the United Kingdom to Central Florida.

Since then, we have worked to build on that foundation—growing the company, refining our service processes, and developing long-term relationships with homeowners throughout the community.

Today we care for residential pools across Clermont, Minneola, Montverde, Groveland, Horizon West, and surrounding areas, serving homeowners throughout the South Lake community.

As a family-owned business, we take pride in providing consistent weekly service, professional water chemistry management, and clear communication so homeowners can simply enjoy their pools.

As a family-owned business, we take pride in the people who represent

Alan typically services new pools during the first few weeks to ensure everything is set up properly before assigning a regular technician.
This helps maintain consistency and allows us to build strong relationships with the homeowners we serve.

Professional Service Standards

Our technicians follow detailed service procedures and document each visit so homeowners always know how their pool is being cared for.

Each service visit includes professional water testing, equipment checks, and detailed service reports so homeowners always know how their pool is being maintained.

We also take care to respect each property, ensuring gates and enclosures are secured when service is complete.

Alan

Owner & Lead Technician

Alan oversees service operations and works closely with our technicians to ensure every pool receives the attention and care our customers rely on each week.

With a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (with honors) and certification as a Certified Pool Operator (CPO), Alan brings a strong technical approach to water chemistry, equipment performance, and service processes. He enjoys the problem-solving side of pool service and takes pride in helping homeowners keep their pools running smoothly.

When he’s not servicing pools, Alan enjoys training for and competing in triathlons, and spending time with his family — often at Disney, Universal, or camping in the RV.

Jennifer

Operations & Client Support

Jennifer manages scheduling, customer communication, billing, and service coordination to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

With a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (with honors) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education specializing in Mathematics, Jennifer brings a thoughtful and organized approach to the operational side of the business. She works closely with customers to answer questions, coordinate service needs, and keep everything running efficiently so our technicians can focus on providing reliable pool care.

Jennifer enjoys embracing new challenges and experiences, but is a homebody at heart and values time spent with family. 

Charles 'CJ'

Certified Pool Operator

CJ services pools across the South Lake area and takes pride in making sure every pool is left clean, balanced, and ready to enjoy.

A go-with-the-flow kind of guy, CJ prides himself on being approachable and down to earth. If you run into him during service, there’s a good chance he’ll leave you with a smile — sharing laughter is definitely his love language.

CJ has been with his wife, Sabrina, for 13 years, and together they share their home with two cats, Rory and Ruby. As a Clermont local, you might spot them on a late-night Target run or enjoying Food Truck Friday in downtown Clermont.

Stewart

Certified Pool Operator

Stewart services pools across the South Lake area and takes pride in keeping pools clean, balanced, and running smoothly.

Known for his attention to detail and easygoing personality, Stewart enjoys the hands-on nature of pool service and the satisfaction of leaving every pool looking its best.

When he's not out on route, Stewart enjoys spending time with family and exploring local spots around Clermont.
